1. Working Hours
Regular working hours shall not exceed 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.

2. Overtime Pay Calculation
Overtime pay varies by time period and type of day.

| Regular day, first 2 hours | Hourly wage × 1.34 |
| Regular day, hours 3-4 | Hourly wage × 1.67 |
| Rest day, first 2 hours | Hourly wage × 1.34 |
| Rest day, hours 3-8 | Hourly wage × 1.67 |
| Rest day, hours 9-12 | Hourly wage × 2.67 |
| National holiday | Double pay (extra day's wage) |
| Regular day off | Extra day's wage + compensatory leave |
小提示
- Hourly wage = Monthly salary ÷ 30 ÷ 8
- Rest day overtime under 4 hours counts as 4 hours
3. Annual Leave Days
Workers are entitled to annual leave based on years of service.

| 6 months to 1 year | 3 days |
| 1-2 years | 7 days |
| 2-3 years | 10 days |
| 3-5 years | 14 days |
| 5-10 years | 15 days |
| Over 10 years | +1 day per year, max 30 days |

- Unused leave must be paid out by employer
- Workers decide when to take leave
4. Severance Pay
When legally terminated, employers must pay severance based on years of service.

| New system (after 2005/7/1) | 0.5 months average wage per year, max 6 months |
| Old system (before 2005/7/1) | 1 month average wage per year |

If employer fails to give proper notice, they must pay wages for notice period

2026 minimum wage standards:
